Our initial opening will be based upon current government and governing body guidance at the time and is likely to evolve as information is updated and situations change – we primarily will focus upon hire only of our stand up paddleboards, mega SUP (same family household), wetsuits, single and double kayaks as well as windbreaks and deck chairs.
In order to ensure the welfare of our customers, staff and the general public we have written extensive documentation that will enable us to maintain social distancing and carry out thorough sanitising procedures of equipment and facilities. If you wish to review these for yourself we welcome the opportunity for you to do so and have provided an overview of our COVID-19 procedures and protocol.
To carry out our duty of care all water sports equipment hire will follow allocated times throughout the day so that we can appropriately clean equipment between use and prevent cross over between groups of people. As the season progresses, we hope to be able to provide small group lessons and tours however, this is not as straightforward as it might seem.
As a small family run business, like many others in our region, the impact of COVID-19 are enduring and pervasive – while we wish to be able to provide a full provision of activities by the time of peak season we are restricted not only by government guidance but the availability of staff who are still available to run the centre. To ensure that you are kept up to speed of what activities are available regular updates will be posted on our Facebook page (ocean sports centre) and bookings can be made here on our website. If you have any questions please do not hesitate in contacting us via email; email@example.com , give us a call 01736 794782 or pop in and see at Carbis Bay beach.
See you all seen for a much needed break on the beach.
