Ocean Sports Centre Club Sessions
All through the warmer months the Ocean Sports Centre will be running various voluntary clubs (as part of community ocean sports C.I.C.) and regular private classes. We have something for everyone from SUP, Sailing, Hawaiian Canoe and Kayak – regular clubs and classes will start from the end of April.
We will be holding a club ‘sign up’ night for everyone on Wednesday 22nd April (SUP, Sailing and Hawaiian canoe) – kicking off the season with our Summer Fun SUP series on Friday night (April 24th). Contact Glenn directly on 07533 695 031 (clubs); Lucy 07889 041 871 (classes) or email email@example.com . The Centre will be open for private tuition and group lessons during the day by bookings (April to June) or simply by popping down to the beach (peak season only).
Fun – Training – Mondays: 1630 – 1800
Surrounded by water it is only natural for youngsters to hit the water at every available opportunity. Every week we will be running an after school club specifically for kids focusing on SUP but including paddle sports in general for 10 to 15 yrs. The club ethos is to develop greater ocean awareness and ocean skills, how to keep safe, be active and above all lots of fun.
Social – Training – On Water – Tuesdays 1830 – 2000
Outrigger Canoes are amazing craft and are designed for open ocean and surf. Our goal, to get out on the water and enjoy the stunning bay we live in – whether it is getting a buzz surfing in our two four person canoes or charging along in our six person canoe you will want to come back time and again. Through out the season we have mini adventures and this year we will be aiming to paddle from Penzance to Carbis Bay in the Coast to Coast in preparation for the Celtic Crossing in September (a race from St’Mary’s to Sennen).
Social – Training – On Water – Thursdays 1830 – 2000
SUP – SAIL – CANOE
Come on down and enjoy our social club night, for all levels and abilities, we intend to get every piece of equipment on the water, for a fun session.
We will have coaches available for SUP, Sail and Canoe, on the sunny days we might even have the BBQ out!
